The new set of NAWASA Board of Trustees held its Planning Workshop last December 2-5, 2008 at Ford’s Inn, Cebu City to come up with its priority activities for 2009. The workshop which was jointly sponsored by the Streams of Knowledge and the UNDP, reviewed the accomplishments of NAWASA for 2008. Based on the said review and assessment, the group has identified the priorities of NAWASA for 2009.

The 4th National Conference of Small Scale Water Service Providers (SSWSPs) with the theme: “Building Capacities for Improved Water Service Delivery” was held on November 28-29, 2011 at Hotel H2O (located at the back of Quirino Grandstand) in Luneta, Manila. This was jointly organized by the National Water Resources Board (NWRB), National Water and Sanitation Association of the Philippines (NAWASA), the Philippine Water Partnership (PWP) and the Streams of Knowledge. Among the major sponsors were the Water and Sanitation Program-World Bank, NEDA/MDGF 1919 and the International Water Centre (IWC). Other sponsors were Balibago Waterworks System, Inc., MIG Systems, Inc., Manila Water Company, Inc., Maynilad, MHECO, Inc. and Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).
