| Milestones |
- The Philippine Water Partnership was launched on World Water Day, March 22, 2002 as a non-stock, non-profit corporation under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines
- Accredited by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) as its Non-Government Organization (NGO) partner in water resources development and management
- A recognized partner of the National Water Resource Board in the promotion and implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management
- Instigated the creation of the ASEAN Working Group on Water Resources Management (AWGWRM) through President Fidel V. Ramos

| Objectives |
- To contribute and assist in the government efforts towards IWRM by:
- Providing neutral grounds for discussing IWRM issues among a wide range of stakeholders
- Pursuing sustainable advocacy & capacity building interventions at all levels
- To act as spokesperson in behalf of its members in matters concerning IWRM and its liaison with other organizations both local & international
