During the 2nd Conference of Small Scale Water Service Providers held in Cebu City last October 16-17, 2008, the National Water and Sanitation Association of the Philippines (NAWASA) also held its General Assembly meeting and the election of its new set of Board of Trustees and officers for 2009

The new set of NAWASA Board of Trustees held its Planning Workshop last December 2-5, 2008 at Ford’s Inn, Cebu City to come up with its priority activities for 2009. The workshop which was jointly sponsored by the Streams of Knowledge and the UNDP, reviewed the accomplishments of NAWASA for 2008. Based on the said review and assessment, the group has identified the priorities of NAWASA for 2009
